Seasonal flowers

Let the season choose the palette.

Flowers cut in their natural season are stronger, more fragrant and last longer. This is the calendar our studio lives by — and the reason your bouquet in April looks nothing like your bouquet in October.

September – November

Dahlias, chrysanthemums and antique hydrangea.

Colours deepen and textures multiply. We add seed heads, berries and turning foliage for bouquets with the warmth of a harvest table.

Bloom portraits

Six flowers, and how we like to use them

  • A red anemone with a dark centre
    Winter – spring

    Anemone

Dark-eyed faces that open wide in warm rooms; we pair them with ranunculus.

  • Pink and plum hellebore flowers
    Winter

    Hellebore

Nodding, speckled cups — best floated in a shallow bowl.

  • A white ranunculus flower with layered petals
    Spring

    Ranunculus

Layered petals like paper roses, lasting up to ten days.

  • A pink and white sweet pea flower
    Early summer

    Sweet pea

The most fragrant stem we sell; bunched on its own in a jug.

  • A white cosmos flower in a garden
    Summer – autumn

    Cosmos

Adds movement and air to structured bouquets.

  • A deep blue hydrangea head
    Summer – autumn

    Hydrangea

Big volume from a single stem; submerge heads if they wilt.

Grower partners

Most of our flowers travel less than 120 km.

We buy direct from regional farms whenever the season allows, and from the wholesale market only to fill gaps. Buying close means cutting later, travelling cooler and arriving stronger.
