A wedding, start to finish

Anna & Theo — a late-summer garden wedding

Here is how one of last season's weddings came together, from the first call to the last petal swept from the lawn.

  1. 01

    Nine months before

    First conversation

A video call about the venue, the guest count and a shared playlist of photos. We sent a proposal within a week, stem by stem.

  2. 02

    Six months before

    Studio consultation

Anna and Theo visited the studio to hold the flowers: coral garden roses, apricot dahlias, trailing jasmine and silver eucalyptus.

  3. 03

    Two weeks before

    Trial bouquet

We made the bridal bouquet in full and photographed it in the venue's afternoon light to fine-tune the palette.

    The day

    Set-up and styling

Four florists arrived at 7:00. By noon the arch, aisle meadows and thirty table vessels were in place; the bouquet was delivered at 13:30.

    That night

    Reclaim and give back

Rentals were collected after dinner. Arrangements went home with guests, and the rest were composted with our grower partner.

Planning questions

How far ahead should we book?

Six to twelve months for peak-season Saturdays; three months is often enough for weekdays and winter dates.

Do you travel?

Yes. Weddings within 150 km are included in our standard logistics; beyond that we quote travel and accommodation at cost.

What deposit do you take?

A 25% deposit reserves your date. The balance is due four weeks before the wedding, once final numbers are confirmed.

Tell us about your day.

Share your date, venue and a few images you love. We'll reply within two business days with availability and first ideas.
